"Come visit us and let me introduce you to the magical and unique works of the Internationally acclaimed artist Tim Wilson"
Rachel Harper-Dibley
Manager and Gallery Consultant
Rachel Harper-Dibley joined Wilson Gallery in early 2018. Having grown up around the Queenstown area, she was educated at Otago University where she studied Education and Classical Art and Architecture.
Based primarily in Auckland, Rachel has spent over 25 years in education, facilitating and emphasising the importance of creativity within our classroom programmes. Five years ago, once their three children had grown up and left to pursue their own adventures, she followed her heart and they returned home to Queenstown, where the transition from her career in Education to one in Art Consultancy began. When not in the gallery, Rachel loves immersing herself in nature, gardening, doing many walks, skiing in winter and dabbling with her own abstract painting of the environment.
Julie Hay
Gallery Consultant
Julie Hay joined Wilson Gallery in late 2018. Born in Canada, the daughter of an actuary and a professional musician, Julie acquired a love for numbers and music.
Julie has lived in France, Wales and Germany where she worked at Galerie Leidel in Munich, and developed her knowledge of post-war European art; in particular, French nouveau réalisme and German Expressionism. After studying French and German, Julie began learning Spanish and, to this end, recently spent several winters in Costa Rica. When Julie is not listening to Bach, writing poetry or practicing yoga, she enjoys managing and growing her wealth. Five years ago, she included art in her portfolio and derives a daily dose of joy from these investments.
Ting Zhang
Gallery Consultant
Ting Zhang was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in New York City. She has a background in tech, marketing, sales, and product development.
In 2015, she left the big city life behind in exchange for her spiritual home of Queenstown. Like many before her, Ting didn’t expect to stay in Queenstown but serendipitously fell in love with the Wakatipu and her Kiwi partner, and is now lucky to call Central Otago home.
Ting is delighted to join the gallery team. For her, Tim’s dramatic landscapes are the only works of art that have been able to capture the majesty that is New Zealand/Aotearoa. She is thrilled to help delight others in discovering Tim’s work, in particular, using her bilingual skills to welcome Chinese visitors to the gallery.
